Pokhara Was Even Better Than We Expected

We had been looking forward to Pokhara, but the experience was even better than expected. The drive was comfortable and everything was arranged clearly. We spent time around the lakeside area and loved the slower atmosphere compared with Kathmandu. The mountain views, the lake and the peaceful setting made the whole trip feel very relaxed. We also appreciated that the schedule was flexible enough that we did not feel like we were constantly checking the time. It felt more like travelling with local support than being pushed through a fixed tour program.
